Project Description


  • In this lesson we will continue the theme of "art tells stories" by asking students to create a mini "comic strip of their favorite memory. For the first grade class, we will be creating a comic strip but with utilizing three story boxes instead of just one.

Essential Understandings


  • Students will be able to use the visual arts to draw a favorite memory without using any words.

Objectives


Identify how artists and designers make connections through personal stories between self, family and friends.
